and presenting them with opportunities to serve God and others within our church, community, and world.

Woman-to-Woman Mentoring
Women of all ages are welcome to experience joy and growth in their Christian lives by participating in one-on-one supportive and encouraging mentoring friendships. Titus 2:3-5 tells us we are to teach and guide the next generation of Christian women in how to live the life of a Godly woman. New groups are always forming, so watch the Words of Grace for upcoming sessions. See the wonders that God will work in both of your lives.

Some comments from past and present mentors/mentees:
“Before this experience, I knew my mentee ‘from a distance.’ Now I have a new friend.”
“Just knowing that my prayer warrior is praying for me encourages me each day.”
“Our relationship has allowed us to get to know each other as persons in Christ.”

Connect and Grow with God
You’ll find these studies to be a great place to connect with other women and build lasting friendships, while growing in your relationship with God. Various sessions meet weekly and include prayer, insightful teaching, and discussion. Choose from several course topics and meeting times. Please watch the Words of Grace for schedules.

Bagels & Books
All women are invited to meet monthly to read and discuss books that have the potential to shape their lives. From literary classics to the latest best sellers, this book club is designed for women who love to pore over a great read.

Reach Out & Connect
We are always looking for outreach opportunities. Some of them are . . .

Prison Ministry
Training is available through Campus Crusade for Christ; or you may be interested in coming alongside a woman who has been released from prison and is now trying to put her life back together. Opportunities also exist for women who would like to be a pen pal to a prisoner.

Nursing Home Ministry
For those who want to practice ‘pure religion,’ just spending 30 minutes reading and sharing friendship with women in nursing homes is a great blessing to both.

Touching Hearts and Helping Hands
Here is an opportunity to come alongside another woman in a time of need or crisis. If you have a little time, a little creativity, and compassion for someone in need, this may be the ministry for you. You will pray, call, send cards, e-mail, just let her know you care, prepare a meal, provide transportation, meet with her before an upcoming worrisome event, read scripture, listen, or whatever is appropriate.

Periodically, fellowship events are held. These are a great opportunity to invite those outside the church to a non-threatening activity in a Christian environment. Events such as craft and service nights, summer picnics, holiday celebrations, retreats, etc., are held 3-4 times per year.
